That's a really great price. Side 4 contains cover tracks that aren't on the CD version.

Back up to $40-plus. I didn't read much about the album, is it any good (musically speaking)?

 

I'd say very much yes. There's a lot more production on this than I recall on previous Squeeze albums, but it certainly doesn't get in the way of well crafted songs.

 

I just got and finished Fleetwood Mac Rumors Vinyl. I meant to buy this when released and never did.

I have heard some really great new vinyl, but man this pressing by SH and KG just completely blew me away. It's like hearing it for the first time. I never knew this recording had so much depth, detail, wide sound stage and bass. Just an incredible job by our host.

I feel like I stole this from Amazon at that price of $9.66

I ordered one at $14 and still haven't got it. Then the price went down so I wonder if they'll change it?

 

In my experience, no. They only do that for TVs. Your option is to re-buy at a lower price, and send back (on your dime, typically), the higher priced version. Amazon often changes prices every few hours, I suppose this is their way to avoid the never-ending loop of price adjustments.

 

I'm not gonna worry about it. I still think I got a pretty good deal

 

Amazon doesn't price match anymore either. If the price lowered after shipping within one week, they would refund you the difference.

It usually always happens to me right when something is about to ship or after it ships and goes down $3 or more. It's annoying but I usually just live with it as it's very little money.

IMO, if it happens before it ships they should. Nothing more annoying than a item is at a certain price for a long period then drops quite a bit after it ships.

 

If you request a price adjustment at Amazon, and if they grant it, that counts as one of a very limited number of "courtesy" price adjustments Amazon will do for your account. After a small number, they won't do any more, ever.

So it's foolish to get an adjustment for a few cents or even a buck or two.

The Sam Cooke- Portrait Of A Legend is a near perfect compilation. 2LP's of one of the most amazing voices ever. The man could hum better than most can sing. Grab it you won't be sorry.

 

I believe it's a DSD recording (if indeed that's the correct way to put it). A great sounding record
