Been a while since we've seen a great super deluxe box set deal... Queen - A Night At the Odeon [CD/DVD/Blu-ray/12"][Box Set] - Amazon.com Music At $49.99 shipped, about half off (or more) when compared with other sellers.
Yes, it's usually about $8-10 more expensive. Any LP by a big-name legacy artist that's being sold for under $20 is a good deal.
according to this price check, its a great deal Led Zeppelin II by Led Zeppelin (B00IXHBUG0) with camelcamelcamel, you can copy any amazon link into it and see its history.
Not sure if this is the best place to discuss hardware deals, but Amazon is now selling the Art Pro DJPRE II turntable preamp for $32: Amazon.com: ART Pro Audio DJPRE II Phono Turntable Preamplifier: Musical Instruments I've used one of these for several years and they are excellent build & sound quality for the price. For me it was an easy/cheap upgrade from using the built-in phono stage on my amp. And its adjustable gain trim is handy when doing needledrops.
Beatles "Yellow Submarine" vinyl: $12.59 Yellow Submarine The Beatles - Yellow Submarine - Amazon.com Music
Saw this was $21.10 on May 9. At least that's what camelcamelcamel says. Too bad amazon doesn't seem to keep a low price for awhile ever it seems.
Not sure if this link will work but the Analogue Productions pressing of Sonny Rollins is back down to about $23 today. It is a phenomenal sounding lp and very nicely pressed. LINK
I don't think so. I believe it is a newer KG mastering. But I am not 100% sure, I was asking the same question myself recently in THIS thread. My understanding is that the current OJC and also the Newbury Comics teal limited edition pressing use the DCC Hoffman/Gray mastering from the 1990s(?). I have the teal vinyl Newbury pressing, it is a great sounding record. It is not clear to me why KG remastered it again for AP (if indeed that is what happened) given that the currently available OJC is so good. If anyone has better intel on this situation, chime in!
