$200 off Sennheiser HD 800 Headphone System ($1499.99, regularly $1699.99) https://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-HD-800-Reference-Headphone/dp/B00PXLX2TC
Music Direct has its predecessor HD800 for $899 and the HD700 for $399 which is a steal. I have tried both and bought the HD700 several years ago. Not as much love for the HD700 but in my side by side the HD800 were harder to drive ( not an issue with my integrated amp but was an issue with my portable headphone amp.). Not sure you can buy a better headphone for $399 than the HD700.
I'm thinking of trying the HD700; I'm convinced they get a bad rap. From what I can tell, they came out a price that was considered too high and they don't have the warmness that everyone seems to like about Sennheisers. And the snowball effect kept going..
Part of the problem is that the HD700 is not as linear as the HD650/HD600/HD580, and costs more. The general consensus is that the HD650/HD600/HD580 headphones are better audiophile headphones.
Mine arrived, and it is indeed the Prestige/OJC pressing. Seller is covering return shipping and issuing a refund upon receipt of the record.

This seems like a pretty good deal for Paul Weller fans - especially since I paid $10 more on release; https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product..._mini_detail?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
Pink Floyd's Momentary Lapse of Reason vinyl for $13.97: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N0IO7BT
ugh, ive already got rush's first album but 200gr repress with vinyl rip included just sounds so tempting.
The LP's great but don't buy it for the vinyl rip. If you rip LP's you could probably do a much better one yourself.
Agreed. The giant box, though, is large enough to hold two more LPs. Buy the new reissues of Fly by Night and Caress of Steel and make your own modern Archives.
yeah i have an original or at least early reissue anyway, dont need all the junk in the box. for rush fans a few are on sale today roll the bones $15.85 https://www.amazon.com/Roll-Bones-V...rd_wg=tQwzP&psc=1&refRID=NNBW4SSWA7SNV45VMZCS farewell to kings $13.88 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00QR7ZMN0/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
I got the box because I found one very cheap on Amazon Warehouse Deals, but I wonder why they don't repackage it without the box. The LP is fantastic but the packaging is not that big of an upgrade.
