Me too. Bet it's out of stock real quick.
Thanks for the heads up...just pulled the trigger on this box set...
As much as I hate to support Walmart they price matched amazon and you can get $10 plus free shipping so with tax and everything it came out to about $50 total for me.
Here is my referral for the $10 off Google Express .. Or you can probably find more all over the internet.
I ordered my first ever record from them last week and it came in a nice sturdy mailer so hopefully they treat box sets the same.
Kill Em All is under $11
As are a few Built To Spill LPs
I feel the same way about Walmart but sometimes their deals are too hard to resist. In the past couple of years I have purchased maybe 4 items that were shipped to my home or to in store; every single one of them was packed perfectly and arrived in pristine condition.
I saw a 20% coupon on the Walmart website. Not sure if that would work with the Google Express discount as well?
I think it has to be available via express though, and not everything is. It’s hit and miss, like the stones set wasn’t via express
Yeah, you have to order through google express. I have noticed the majority is available but def. not everything so like Rentz said, it is hit and miss for sure.
As far as the 20% off, I had that in my promotion offers when I was checking out but it would not apply towards the cars set for some reason. I tried 3 times and finally just did the $10 off instead since it was hardly much of a difference unless you were buying more.
On another note, the $10 off works for any of the sites on google express and there is best buy, guitar center and fry's which only require $25 for free shipping so you can get a huge discount if you can actually find something you want but the selection and prices did not look that great from a quick glance I did. The browsing function as a whole is pretty poor so just search "lp" or "vinyl" to see the records.
Adding to my last reply, I actually just looked at the 20% off again and it seems like it is supposed to be used in the phone app so that is probably why it didn't work for me.
maybe we should start a walmart.com deals thread!
Walmart sells vinyl?
I’m going there right now to pick up about 6 or 8 LPs right now. All pretty cheap - as cheap or cheaper than Amazon BEFORE the store pick-up discount (see below) - with the coup de grace being the recent Disreali Gears mono 1/2 speed for $12 and change.
Many items have an addt’l 6 or 7% discount if you pick-up at a store rather than ship. For several reasons this actually works better for me.
Cream Disreali Gears half speed comes up $22.83 for me on there.
David Bowie Heroes pre-order $13.06
Low is also the same price. What is the quality of these reissues?
They're not out yet. Coming 2/23.
You didn’t look on Tuesday evening West coast time...
IIRC it actually said a higher price - probably $22.83 - when I looked at it the night before and put it in my cart - but then it was the lower $13.22 shipped/$12.36 pickup price the next day. Or maybe the higher price showed up in the search, but when I clicked on the LP to order it, there was a lower price. I can’t remember which.
I saw overnight price changes (up and down) on a number of items - and also saw some differing prices depending upon what “page” you were looking at.
All in all for $91+tax w/ store pickup ($13 per LP) i got:
Cream - Disraeli Gears 1/2 speed
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
Pink Floyd - More
Rush - Caress of Steel (I don’t even like Rush or Pink Floyd that much, but...)
Rush - A Farewell To Kings
Tom Petty - You’re Gonna Get It
Ryan Adams - Prisoner
They are the same as the last box set no?
Separate names with a comma.
