    This is a different one.

"Long Strange Trip" amazon exclusive 6 LP set for $75 shipped (when I bought it). They were supposedly out of stock and selling for much more and somehow more have shown up.

I have been listening to it all evening. It sound really good. There's a stunning "Dark Star" and a smoking '74 "Eyes". There's a few tracks I could do without (because I have them elsewhere on LP) but they are mastered top notch.
    Recommended even at current price.

Thanks. I went ahead and picked it up earlier. I'm streaming it now and up to Morning Dew. It's sequenced nicely and an enjoyable listen. Looking forward to hearing the records.

Heh... I thought after my last smart@ss remark I should come back here after I listened to it. Yes, it actually sounds quite good. Very dynamic and well mastered in my lowly opinion...

Got my $60 Pepper box today. It wasn't sealed but the only issue with it is some scratches on the outer slipcase on one side that looks like it was probably the victim of someone opening the outer box with a razor. Everything inside is perfect. Thanks again for posting.

Hope everyone else got copies that look as good (if not better).

A PLACE TO BURY STRANGERS: Worship

I just bought this after listening to the FLAC files. These guys are VERY good! They are kind of a cross between a VERY moody Shoegaze / Goth / New Wave sound. I very rarely notice or go out of my way for the singer, but this guy has a very nice dark Goth voice. The vinyl is $14.99

    Highly recommended!

    Interesting, thanks for sharing.

This should be right in my wheelhouse, and it might be. But skimming through the album on iTunes, I'm hearing nothing much more than Jesus & Mary Chain. Not necessarily a bad thing but I should go buy their newest album before J&MC-lite.

BTW, their 2012 EP is only $13.98.

The more I hear the more I like. Still, Cigarettes After Sex and The KVB are more interesting purveyors in this genre.

The EP is a different album and is less. The album 'worship' is $14.99 as per the link above. And, it is better... :)

I understand the EP is different. Was just pointing out something else in the band's catalogue that appeared to be a decent value.

Unfortunately, after skimming the entire album (30 second stretches of each song), I'm out.

  21. There is only one copy left but a seller on Amazon Marketplace has this fairly rare Tony Bennett SACD available for $17 shipped through Prime. It's a surround SACD (though this is not a hybrid, so no CD layer) with guests Ray Charles, Billy Joel and others. This is a new copy going off the seller's listing. I would have bought it myself but got one last month. You just don't see new copies of this SACD for this price.

Got mine as well. The outer brown box was previously opened by a razor or something but the actual box set itself was no issues at all.

Mine came brand new unopened mint condition and in factory box.
Nice set overall but definitely not worth more than $60 for sure.
