Not all. That Cosmo's Factory has been at that exact price for over a month now. The Honey app is great for keeping an eye out. .
Sorry to say.. It's probably not gonna be any color other than black. I got it for that low price last week. Don't get me wrong, it sounds fantastic. I hope they drop the price on the rest of the catalog. I really need a I and Diver Down. But the listing is not accurate about it being colored vinyl.
MILES DAVIS: Doo-Bop $13.79 MOV version https://www.amazon.com/Doo-Bop-DAVI.../ref=tmm_vnl_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=&sr= Just happened to come across this while doing research on the album. I don't know how the MOV pressing sounds (I'll research it here in a minute ) but compared to Discogs at $30+ it's a pretty good deal.
Do want to thank you for bringing this to my attention. Only Creedence vinyl I have at this point seems to be the original 45s. Always blew off the vinyl, since I have Steve's SACDs, but I know my vintage vinyl setup will bring more of the ballsy bass out of this one. I went with a Marketplace seller that's apparently right here in town, according to their write-up. $13.60 + 3.99 shipping = $17.59, same as Amazon's price before taxes. I'll get 5% back too, from my Amazon Visa. If this is packed properly (and it should be since they sell records constantly + being right here local, I may have a new go-to for records). Again, @Strat-Mangler , thanks ! .
there are good prices on most of the CCR vinyl... how can one tell if its the SH-mastering or the Horn-digitally sourced mastering?
Only 2 releases reused the Hoffman/Gray remastered plates ; Cosmos Factory and Bayou Country. A great deal to get essentially an Analogue Productions LP for less than half the cost! The rest are solely available on AP.
I'd like to mention that the first Van Halen album also has a pressing where Warner Bros reused the DCC plates Steve & Kevin made for their remaster so instead of paying upwards to $200 for a copy, I paid my non-DCC-but-really-DCC copy $20.
Yes, replaced by the Chris Bellman remaster which is supposedly quite good but of course, owning the DCC at a cheaper price is too tempting, right? They actually go up to $300 on eBay, now. Crazy. Anyway, this is the one. Van Halen - Van Halen Although they are tougher to find, they can still be found either by using the UPC code or by looking for that gray RTI sticker on the cover.
This is cheaper than $80. Van Halen - Van Halen Vinyl LP 81227991487 | eBay There are 3 copies left. Go and get 'me, boys!
Not too bad at all IF it is the right pressing. I bought mine on eBay that was SUPPOSEDLY this pressing (correct UPC code and all) BUT, when I got it, it was Bellman's But, yeah, if it is the right one and the condition is good, then with shipping (at least to here in the US) for around $50 wouldn't be too bad... The Discogs link you gave had a NM copy for about $80.
Yep. 2012 Best Buy had a helluva sale. $7.99 - Is the slower version of After Midnight (from the Michelob commercial) available? * It is a beast, just like it's digital counterpart ( the DCC VH S/T ) .
The Discogs link was merely so people have the right info. It takes that info to track it down, sometimes. If it's the wrong pressing, you can return it for a full refund, plus the eBay link I posted has the seller specifically advertising it as the Kevin Gray cut anyway.
That's good to know. I just wanted to share what happened to me. I think that the seller I bought it from just wasn't really that knowledgeable, that's all and had listed the wrong catalog number. If this guy actually mentions KG, then that surely is an excellent sign!
