It's really a fantastic set! You get the best part of Cornell ("Scarlet/Fire"), plus an amazing 1970 Dark Star, not to mention one of the best late period song by the band ("Days Between").
There are a few redundant studio tracks that no one needs, but at least they are mastered well and sound good.
I strongly recommend snagging this one!

I agree. It's a really nice vinyl set, and I paid 10 dollars more,

My Cosmo's Factory arrived today. Steve and Kevin's mastering truly brings the thunder. Much more bottom end than the SACDs on my 2 separate setups.

Mine too. Sounds great. But there was an odd static on the last track of side 1... i cleaned my stylus and am going to play again after the Warriors/Rockets game.

Be careful with Jimi Plays Berkeley... there are 2 LP masters. 1 is analog cut by Bernie Grundman, the other is a digital source. I believe the Grundman one is the later of the 2 releases. A search here can probably confirm UPC/release date.

For $10.90, I’ll take a high res sourced double record of Jimi Hendrix.

Is it a hi-rez source or is 16/44.1? I own both. The BG is much better. To me it makes more sense to put ur $10.90 towards that. But to each their own.

Some deals are no brainers. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a 2LP for $11, and certainly nothing by a Hendrix level artiste. If I gotta upgrade later, then I got some nice trade material.

Hey Bro! Hendrix's South Saturn Delta was just on sale here not too long ago for about $10.90 and the sonics are breathtaking! I HIGHLY recommend that one if you don't have it... :righton:

Dropped to just over $65 yesterday but I missed it. Got it today for $69 though, still a really great value from all the great things I hear of this set.

Also got those Fair Warning and Bayou Country deals. Thanks Mangler of the Strat! Got my eye on VHII and Diver Down to drop someday.

Look... the guy likes CD's... It could be worse... and, thankfully, there ARE treatments for that...

But, with that said, nice prices!

Haha yeah cd is A ok when it’s done right. Plus, smaller item, more music with less storage. No flip, no vacuum, no problem. I recognize AAA is da king, though who’s got the skrilla
