The pricing tracker didn't capture the price you got it at back in the day. It's still very cheap going by the last five years of Amazon pricing history.
Back to our original programming... This is more of a tremendous value for a new reissue, $17.99 for the David Sylvian 2 LP reissue of Plight & Premonition and Flux & Mutability. I'm listening to Flux now, absolutely dead quiet, something that has to be demanded from music such as this. Appears to be a very high quality pressing and the packaging is top notch as well. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BZB64KX/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Additionally, and I haven't confirmed this but it is suggested on Discogs that the version of Plight is the remix from the Camphor bonus disc which doesn't render the original vinyl of that album redundant.
Queen - Sheer Heart Attack LP $10.27 https://www.amazon.com/Sheer-Heart-...=2025&creative=165953&creativeASIN=B001FES0J8
This “deal” is the vinyl equivalent of those “randomly packed” assortment of miscellaneous baseball cards (from Topps, Fleet, Donruss, and Upper Deck) that were typically a sorry mix of failed rookie prospects, middling veterans, long past the All-Star glory years, league leader, manager, and team cards. Except one major difference: Those cards were usually still in “Mint” condition. This vinyl stack may be thrift store rejects.
I wouldn't risk it personally, but you never know...you might score that Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, or Bert Kaempfert unless @latheofheaven has snagged them both already...
Pre-order for Jayhawks "Back Roads And Abandoned Motels" LP is currently $11.20. That's $0.70 less than the CD!
Glad to share! I'm actually in the same boat. Found my copy of Plight in a box of vinyl from days gone by that had yet to be integrated into my current collection. Pristine condition, it still had the shrink-wrap (slit down the edge to get the album out) and $4.99 (brand new) price tag. This was days before the announcement of this reissue. Both Plight and Flux are outstanding, appreciate much more now than when I was younger.
Zep's How the West Was Won is at lowest price again, but with a $6 coupon at check out makes it just under $85. Still holding out til it's closer to $75 myself. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0796DDBYZ/

Sounds like it's likely dollar bin fodder, even with the reviews. Supertramp Breakfast in America was the "rare" item? For $30 I'd rather hit PREX and scour the dollar bins myself.
Yeah, this deal might have some appeal to kids who are just getting their first turntable and looking to get a bunch of stuff cheap without doing any work but otherwise.... nah.
Is $142 a good price for the Tom Petty/Heartbreakers live anthology? https://www.amazon.com/Live-Anthology-Vinyl-Petty-Heartbreakers/dp/B002STRAHM/?tag=sdepcwus-20
