Interesting, they gave me a promo code for 20% off, about 2 months ago, when an LP was canceled in an order. The promo code said it was valid only for my email and one usage only. Even though only one LP in my order was canceled, the promo code was good for the entire future order with free shipping.

That's the one I got as well as a result of an LP order cancellation.

Picked up: Bob Dylan-Shadows of the Night, the Thin Lizzy as above, and an Eccentric Soul comp I didn't have for $9.99 each.

The Fleetwood Mac boxes are sold out online. I've seen them NOT discounted in stores.

You may want to ask about the Fleetwood Mac set in store - they should honor the online price. They did for me (when it was $34.99).

Was excited to try checking out a local UO store today but the clearance area was largely just Iggy Azalea and Thin Lizzy Jailbreak. Snagged Thin Lizzy, saw White Stripes S/T and had them scan it and came up at full price. Somewhat scary the way they have vinyl setup at the Tempe AZ store. It's smack dab in the middle of the store on a staircase; not alphabetized very well and several records upside down and missing shrink wrap.

I didn't visit UO this weekend. The last time I shopped there for LPs, the selection was a lot smaller compared to about a year ago. Previously, (a year ago) there were several current LP box sets. Now, barely anything.

Nothing on sale at my local U.O., in L.A. and I noticed the space for records was reduced about 25%, while the space for Crosley turntables doubled!

Yep, same set up here. It seems to be located where the shoppers running downstairs will bump into the display while looking for a $54 Van Halen graphic tee and possibly grab an LP to hear.
In comparison, a $25 LP is cheap.

What I found disturbing was the "Vintage Vinyl" with newly Vintage shrink wrap of a skanky used LP priced at $8.98 that some Goodwills would have tossed out the door for less than a buck.

Some LP jackets had the Vintage fuzzy torn corner chewed by Vintage rodent... :wtf: :uhhuh: :faint:

The UO here in Miami at Dadeland has actually expanded their record section. Sometime over the summer they moved everything downstairs and added a few more bins. Maybe a 10% increase. However, the selection has decreased. They seem to be stocking less titles and more of them. Like 10-15 records per title and I don't see anymore Eccentric Soul or Soul Jazz.

Does UO still have a sale section at your locations? I haven't seen anything for 6 months maybe....

I've stopped by the one here in Miami, at Dadeland, a few times and haven't seen a sale section.
