Watched 2 of mine in the last week.

Attack Of The Crab Monsters, a B&W Corman flick on a shout Factory triple feature 2 DVD set. Best I've seen this movie look so far. It has an early Russell Johnson later from Gilligan's Island oddly playing a very similar role. Premise is several folks are on an island that is somehow getting smaller and smaller. Yes crabs are involved.

The other is the fairly well known The Brain That Wouldn't Die on an MGM Timeless 4 play single DVD. This version is by far the best I've seen of this movie. How can you not love a talking head sitting in a tray in a crazed doctor's basement lab where a mindless thing of pieced together body parts behind a locked door conspires with the head to reek revenge? Lot's of popcorn was needed for this one. I love it.

I'm with Matt -- those are terrific, awful movies.

My personal favorite are the William Castle films, particularly House on Haunted Hill, 13 Ghosts, and The Tinger. Man, those are great bad B-films. I often use those as examples of bad movies that I really love, probably because I saw them at just the right time as a kid, on late-night TV. (I'm not quite of the generation that could've seen them new in theaters.)

Ya gotta love the idea of a B&W movie where only the blood is red...

me too! I fondly remember waiting for it to show up on Saturday afternoon TV back in the 1960's...also love The Amazing Colossal Man. I was thrilled to find it on DVD, but IIRC TACM is not on DVD?

I really do like "The Brain That Wouldn't Die" but any footage of Roger Corman in the flesh gives Me the creeps. Just sayin'.

Not really "horror" (sci-fi maybe?), but have you ever seen 1965's "Incubus" ? William Shatner in the only feature film shot using the "International Language" of Esperanto!

Oh, and besides William Castle, mention really should be made of Ed Wood. "Glen Or Glenda" is one seriously weird movie - and "Plan 9" - that's the benchmark for craptacular!
