It might help you stir the sugar in your coffe if you put it ontop tho :)

  5. This is a "statement" piece, and yes.....there is a considerable market for it.

A friend of mine owns the Air Force Two and it is an amazing turntable. You have to listen to one to realize what these super high end turntables can achieve.

I'm thinking about one for my second system. Would an Ortofon Red be a good choice for cartridge?

Is there anything on this table that actual measures the speed and corrects it on the fly a la the Phoenix engineering tachometer and PSU?

I'll bet it sounds great, but I'll stick with my lowly VPI Vanquish.

Does it sound $299,650 better than an RP1?

The Air Force Two costs only 30K :yikes:
I don't know about the RP1 but it definitely sounds better than my Technics 1200G and my Clearaudio Ovation.

This is good fodder for an April 1 thread. How do you build a system around and observe general principles of cost allocation (x percent for table, y percent for cartridge, z percent for speakers, etc.).? They’re just going to have to start charging more for cartridges, maybe the $85,000 Koetsu Unobtanium.

Easy.. it has a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and built in bluetooth so you can send the signal to a bluetooth speaker.

Imagine how much one can spend $300,000 USD on other things and experiences than an Air Force Zero turntable... :wtf:

You could buy a Continuum Caliburn instead and have enough $ left to buy a Porsche Turbo.
