Some interesting nominations this year -- I'm impressed that Tanya Tucker's "Bring My Flowers Now" is nominated for Song of the Year!

Also thrilled to see Lana Del Rey receive an Album of the Year nomination!

    Lizzo should clean up.

And simply due to Swift being the sole songwriter for her tune, she should win. No team necessary, I respect that.

From the best new artists nominated, I would be happiest if Yola won, but Maggie Rogers and Rosalía are also excellent choices. I just don’t feel Lizzo is. New artist, but I know how the Grammys work, so she will probably win that...

Just scanned over the nominees and felt like I was reading a foreign language. I don't know 99.5% of this music.

Don't mind me, I'm just here for the rockist boomer butthurt. It's the best part of the Grammys every year.

I mean it’s your perogative to not pay attention to current music, but these names are pretty popular artists at the moment...

.. and yet another year where I'm not really familiar with any of it, and I dont care.

Its not because I'm some musical caveman stuck in 1969. I bought stuff from the last few years. But it wasnt pop; most of it wasnt rock either.

I might have heard part of one of those songs - the wife and daughter listen to the local alt-rock station and leave it tuned to there. I turn the station before any song ever finishes, because its always ... not my cup of tea.

Would be nice to see Big Thief win the "Best Alternative Music Album" for U.F.O.F.

    Excellent album!

I had no idea Tanya Tucker was even still making music, but hey, big props to her. I think this is probably Lizzo's year. I almost said Billie Eilish, but I think she's probably too weird for most Grammy voters. Good to see Justin Vernon aka Bon Iver getting some recognition.

Yuk of all the nominees, I hope it’s anyone but her... I have tried, but I just don’t “get” her.

She's in there for best remix - it's not much, but it is not a shutout either.

I'm Lizzo straight down the line. Cuz I Love You is such an essential album. I also like Lover and Thank You, Next an awful lot - but nowhere nearly as much as Cuz I Love You. Go Lizzo!
