would be nice! I know AF is pulling back on their quad releases. Hopefully not this one.

Do you know why they are pulling back on quad releases?

I saw that tour. Certainly not their best lp, but a few solid songs, including the title cut

Yep. They lost a sale here as I have no interest in buying this in stereo only. But I'll trust they know their business.

While I really like this album I never cared for their cover of Locomotion. Favorite songs are Please Me, Shinin' On and especially To Get Back In. I have an original vinyl copy and I still have the 3D glasses.

The TOCP Cool Price Japan CD covers that title nicely, great sound plus it has two bonus tracks. I think it features the same mastering for the album as the Pastmasters II mentioned above.

I'd bet the hi-res download betters that cd.

Red album definitely, I want to hear it with no compression and low-end roll off.

I don't buy SACDs unless they feature multichannel sound. So I'm glad this is not a five-star title "must have" album, I'd have been heartbroken yet again. I can pass on this and be fine.
    (Edit)
I should not be so pessimistic, this disc might have the quad album mix included.

Yep. Looks better inside your head after it passes through yer ears. :nyah:

I'll bet you dollars to donuts that HDtracks download is sourced from the same digital masters that the horrible 2002 US cd remasters are sourced from. If that's what you'd prefer to listen to, it's all the same to me.

I was joking with you, see my earlier post. That 1997 disc is fantastic, I bought a new copy when released.
