Knowing very well that the 2018 Dave's Picks might give me only one of my first choices, here is my second batch that would make me almost just exactly as happy. Even one of these!

December 14, 1971 - The Hill Auditorium, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI

June 22, 1973 - Pacific Coliseum, Vancouver, BC

October 29, 1977 - Evans Field House, Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, IL

December 16, 1978 - Nashville Municipal Auditorium, Nashville, TN

 

Another fine list. Those mid December '78 shows are surprisingly good with Jerry rocking the Travis Bean again (Wolf in the shop)

6/22/73 is a monster show. I’m hoping for a June ‘73 box set at some point to justify paying ABB for rights on 6/10/73.

 

Highly plausible, in as much as they've already established a paradigm for missing peak performances by one night...

 

That was my exact thought on 6/22 - it seems like the stereotypical, we’re releasing one night away from the more famous 6/23.

I just pulled the show up on Archive.org, looks like a great setlist.

 

It's a great show - that whole week: 11/2, 11/4, 11/5, and 11/6 are hot shows - the band was really peaking at that point.

 

I don't know how it compares to other shows of its era but it was the only GD show I attended.

 

Looks like ordering will be the usual s@#& show. Slightly underwhelming choice, the new CM just circulated.

I am giving up on ordering for now. Trying again later. So annoying that they can't handle the demand, this happens almost every time lately, except for the RFK '89 box (not as many people in a big rush for that one).

 

Just got through. Order placed.

 

My order went through about 30 minutes to an hour ago.

 

Welp, I can now rest easy. Just like the jelly of the month club. I am grateful for every release that comes out, but this could/should have been 2/26/77. 2/26 actually should have been released by Dick! It is cool we have the first week of November run now, but the best of that week has already been released

 

Mine went through too. Finally! Took a few tries though. This system sucks.
