Grateful Dead Dave's Picks 2018 Subscription

I'm happy that I'm not that familiar with the archive of shows so that I can look forward to each one without worrying that a "better" one should've been released.

 

This is a fine show and the rest of that early November run is already released (or in the case of Toronto, mostly released). I am glad to see it released, and glad that my order finally made it through that mess of a website.

 

My hope is that the rest of 11/2 is included as filler, but I have my doubts.

 

Good point, that would be a great bonus.

 

For what it's worth, Dave seemed to indicate that 26 will be a 3 disc show and the bonus disc will be something else "cool" - so not likely to be a 4 disc behemoth show.

 

So they didn't announce the first two this time?

I was planning to subscribe and figure out something to do with the shows I don't really want, but starting off with one I'm less than lukewarm about doesn't have me pulling out my wallet just yet.

Do they say how long the early bird lasts? IIRC last year it went to Thanksgiving.

I'm watching the seaside chat now, but crap it's long. I'm sure @Crispy Rob didn't need to be told what Mayer's birthday is.

I think about 30-33 minutes of 11/2 hasn't been released, which could be squeezed onto either Disc 2 or 3 (it would be very tight on disc 3).

Anyone who complains the GD org is "Only in it for the money!" etc. really needs to just shut their big yappers.

when it was confirming shipping address mine just went back to the order screen/shopping cart

 

Mine finally went though after more than an hour of frustration. Oh well.

 

I'm in the same boat. Any new Dead is good Dead for me. I just have to trust Dave that he knows what he's talking about.

 

Ordered (and easily!). Used PayPal credit. Get 6 months to pay it off. Skipped this year. I’m pumped!

Ok, so I was able to add to cart but I pay with a debit card and don't have the funds tonight. I will make a transfer in the morning. So my question is, do the funds have to be there or can I still charge tonight and get billed later?

 

I believe that you are billed immediately.
