Interesting thread though and bookmarked, seeing as I'm doing great album openers as a tourno, might do one for closing tracks.

 

It's worth pointing out that not all of Elvis Costello's choices for closing tracks were good ones. Hell, on the original run of the "Get Happy" album, it wasn't even clear which was the closing track, as what was listed as side 1 on the album's sleeve was listed as side 2 on the album's label.

I've also always felt that the whole "Imperial Bedroom" album would've flowed much better if side 1 were side 2 and vice-versa.
