This could very well be the only thing ever released in the 80s (or for that matter, the 70s) without centered vocals:

I always enjoyed how Something in the Way wound Nevermind down and out. Even to the point of not caring for the cds with Endless, Nameless attached. Lol.

    I agree!
The last song on The Rolling Stones' Sticky Fingers is perfect!

'i can't give everything away' off of bowie's final album blackstar. this album and its release was very special this year. i'll never forget listening to it for the first time on spotify shortly after midnight the morning of its release. i was immediately blown away by what i was hearing and amazed at david's continued relevance. and donny mccaslin's sax all over it...great stuff. then news of his passing surfaced and listening afterwards felt like hearing it for the first time again. pretty wild window of time in regards to an album's release. very sad as well. the track itself feels like a fitting coda to a legendary career that spanned multiple decades. you definitely hear the wisdom in his voice. and in true fashion, he manages to throw some puzzles in for good measure. what a gift.

I came in here to say "Moonlight Mile", but as I expected that has already been said a couple times. I'll second that.

Hmmmm, since YOU mentioned it, I'd probably have to agree with you, The Beatles' last tracks aren't too shabby.

    Except:
"Dizzy Miss Lizzy" - this closer to Help has a very annoying repetitive guitar riff
"Run For Your Life" - the last track to Rubber Soul has regrettably bad lyrics

    Best:
"I'll Be Back" is a great choice to end A Hard Day's Night, with quiet introspection.
"Good Night" is a gentle musical salve after the sonic salvo of Revolution 9, on the epic White Album.

There are times when I think "The Writ" might be Black Sabbath's greatest song. The closer on Sabotage.
