    You won't regret it. I just saw the 35mm DC, and it was without a doubt the best looking version I've ever seen, including the 35mm Final Cut. They hurriedly did a straight print off the negative and removed the happy ending and voiceover. Thus you lose the violent snippets from the international cut, but don't have to deal with all the new color timing.

    My mistake. The IFI are showing the Final Cut.

    Supposedly Ford did the narration poorly on purpose, hoping they would drop it in the editing stage, ha ha. So much for best-laid plans.

    Maybe the producer and the scriptwriter. Certainly the recording engineer. The story is oft-repeated, if inaccurate.

    I've still got the Criterion Blade Runner on laser disc... geez
    A classic Sci-Fi indeed! Perhaps "the"
    Plays kind of odd without the (unnecessary) voiceover IMO.
    It's like listening to Let it Be (naked).
    I don't prefer either without the chit-chat, just too used to it.
