"Is it safe?"
From what little I've seen of this movie, Laurence Olivier's performance genuinely creeps me out. Amazing actor.
So bad it's good.
"Towering Inferno" isn't a great movie, but it's a sentimental fave from childhood. I got this poster that I like better than the US one - it's much less cluttered!
As an aside, that was a terrible movie!
This "kill scene" remains one of the best examples of unintentional humor I've seen - still makes me laugh!
I don't know. I kind of like it. One of the first horror movies I ever saw.
I admit I've not seen it since I was a kid - I was 12 in 1979 - but I thought it was unintentionally hilarious! That kid hopping around in the sleeping bag made me laugh!
Not sure where people are getting there photos from these days, but surprised I haven't seen any from Blade Runner.
Several of them have outstanding Artwork that is very Film Noir.
Guess which person is alive at the end of the movie.
This reminds me so much of this guy:
Awesome poster. Better than the movie.
awesome but they kind of spoil the end if you look closely
I can't remember the ending. I don't think I've seen it since the '70s. I was even thinking Charlton Heston was the star... until I just looked it up... oh well.
Yeah, but I think that's only semi-apparent if you already know the ending. You can't really predict the plot based on that chaotic image!
Plus, part of the drama in a disaster movie comes from the "who lives/who dies" question, and the poster tells you nothing about that...
