    Looks like something out of a Terminator movie!

    No, Rodney, this has been positively identified by a friend of mine as a Star Wars era wringer / washer machine. It is unclear as to which episode it belongs to - perhaps Episode 2 as it IS an early washing machine and I did not notice this in Episode 1.

    Telescope cutting lens! Hah! Where did you ever get that from?How do you think they kept their clothes clean in the Star Wars movies anyway, with all those dusty desert scenes, huh?

    (Just kidding, of course - maybe it CAN cut telescope lenses on a part time basis!)
