Great songs with crappy endings

    This is something that always annoyed me. A great song with a crappy ending.

    Two that come to mind off hand...

    1) Cherish by The Association (for me, one of the all time crappy endings to a great song)

    2) The Way Of Love by Cher (I'm not a Cher fan but it's a great song but that brash ending just kills the sensitivity)

    Anybody else? :)

    How about great beginnings on crappy songs? Like the opening to Signs by the 5 man electrical band. they start out like they are really going somewhere and then it just sort of peters out.

    Love Is the Drug--Roxy Music. Sounds like they were desperate for an ending.

    "Breakaway" (45 edit) The Beach Boys-a bad edit leading into the end.

    "The End"-The Beatles-great ending, but the piano after the guitar solos sounds like it's in a slightly higher key for some reason, a little sharp.

    "Mama Told Me Not To Come"-Three Dog Night-the ending electric piano chord that almost always gets cut off on the radio!
