I'd say it's doesnt sound promising. Asian vinyl from that era is not usually very good.

Given that the US is fairly easily obtained and sounds good, why would you want a South Korean pressing?

Because here in Argentina, the records are very hard to find and thet are very expensive. I found this release. Is because of that i made this question

    seriously...

i had 3 US pressings and the back to black reissue.
the btb reissue was drowned in bass and to dark sounding.
the 1st US press i bought was great...i loved it but there was a skip in nighttrain...so i sold it and bought another....well...it just didnt sound the same to me.... so then i bought another one...again..it wasnt the same...
so i bought this korean pressing....and i enjoyed more than the others...except for that one pressing i never wrote the matrix of.

also i like the cover better on the korea press.

I have a South Korean Rossington/Collins Band pressing that sounds great, and a South Korean sampler of "Double Live Gonzo" that sounds killer as well. I do have a US AFD with the sticker and the tattoo cover, and the BTB version that sits unplayed after a few spins. The US copy with the sticker kills the BTB, but it wouldn't surprise me if the Korean pressing is at least as good if not possibly better.

Asia is a big place. Japan and S Korea put out good vinyl.

Maybe now they do. Back when this album came out Korean vinyl was spotty at best -- Japan has always been good. The German 360 for AFD is one of the best sounding versions. They also use those metal parts for a recent US edition so it's not hard to find or expensive.
