Ok -- I know I can't be the only person to completely "lose it" after watching a particularly hilarious movie scene where I laugh so hard and burst into tears.

One experience in particular comes to mind in the DVD for "Three Kings" where the main characters reminisce about their lives back home. Ice Cube is a baggage handler, Wahlberg is a power boat salesman, and Spike Jonze, well -- he shoots stuffed bunny rabbits with a 12 gauge. I just lost it.

Movie going wise -- I lost it during "The Meaning Of Life" during the "one more wafer thin mint" scene. Anyone else have similar reactions, or am I the only one??

Speaking of Monty Python...the Black Knight scene in The Holy Grail never fails to put me in stiches!

    "It's just a flesh wound!"

Here's the whole script for that scene:

"Does anyone have a breath mint?". Jim Carey in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. The first is always the best IMHO.

There's this line in the film "Grosse Point Blank" where John Cusak tells his high school buddy that he's a contract killer and the guy asks if he gets dental with that. Always cracks me up.

    Cheers!

Monty Python is the first thing that comes to mind. I know it sounds cliche but the entire movie cracks me up.

"This is Spinal Tap" the whole friggin movie. I watched it again this afternoon and was rolling around the ground in hysterics. The stonehenge scene is a classic, I could watch it over and over.

Oh and then there's the scene is Spaceballs where Col. Sanders walks in on Dark Helmet playing with his dolls. Spaceballs is another one of those movies I can watch over and over.

Speaking of Mel Brooks movies, the scene in "Young Frankenstein" when Elizabeth(Madeline Kahn), and The Monster(Peter Boyle) are getting it on and she starts singing "Oh sweet mystery of life, at last I've found you!!" I'm literally laughing and crying everytime I see it!!

Anything in "Blazing Saddles" runs a close second!!:D

One of my faves: Planes, Trains and Automobiles with John Candy and Steve Martin. My favorite scene--they are on the highway (going the wrong way) somehow make it through two semis barreling down on them,
John Candy brakes hard and the car skids to a halt. The force of the sudden break sends the trunk (tied to the roof) flying across the interstate.
They get out of the car to pull the trunk off the road and sit on it to catch to their breath. Suddlenly, an audible "poof" is heard in the background followed by the unmistakable glare of a fire. They turn around (while still sitting on the trunk) to see what is happening only to discover that their car had burst into flames (from John Candy's previously miscast cigarette).
They turn back and then do a quick, simultaneous double take.
The two of them burst into laughter at the ridiculousness of their predicament and it is one of my favorite movie scenes of all time.!:)

Most of DUCK SOUP(and at least a third of most Marx Brothers films through A DAY AT THE RACES)

Most of PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE(and scattered portions throughout the Wood canon)

Scattered passages from the MONTY PYTHON films(key sequences noted above)

A lot of A HARD DAY'S NIGHT("Don't breathe on me, Adrian.....")

Key scenes in ANIMAL HOUSE(Devil vs. Angel scene a highlight; and of course appearance of "Deathmobile")

Entire "Springtime For Hitler" sequence from THE PRODUCERS

    Richard Pryor LIVE IN CONCERT

Do Chris Rock and George Carlin's HBO specials count?!?
    If not, they should...

There are a few great scenes in the wonderful The Taking Of Pelham 1,2,3.
    A GREAT cast too!

Oh, and what about the scene in Take The Money And Run where Virgil (Woody Allen) tries to rob a bank but no-one can read his hold up note! BRILLIANT!

Speaking of Blazing Saddles...the scene where they show up at the Toll Booth in the middle of nowhere and they send the guy back for a bag of dimes is one of the best scenes ever.

Second on my list is where Clark (Chevy Chase) loses it in the car and the way to Wally World in "Vacation" where he says, "I'm gonna have fun and you're gonna have fun...we're all gonna have so much F*&^%in fun you'll be whistlin' Zippidy Doo Dah out of our *ssholes!!"

The original PINK PANTHER film had many funny moments, but the sequel, A SHOT IN THE DARK, is a laughriot from beginning to end; still a great kick to watch. Blake Edwards and Peter Sellers were never better, and a clever script and fine cast made it all work. Shame they couldn't keep it going...

Some of Kubrick's DR. STRANGELOVE, though you can never forget the dark subject matter even while you're laughing....

Maybe I am one of those simpler characters, but I liked that scene from Wayne's World II very much, when the guys - dressed as one police officer, one street worker, one Native American (...you get the picture!) - want to hide themselves behind a back door from being uncovered, and - of course - they find themselves amidst a gay disco. No further explanation necessary. This one is priceless!
Another scene (I just recognize myself as a Mike Myers fan!) is from Austin Powers - The Spy Who Shagged me. Of course it's the scene from the tent on Dr. Evil's island. No comment. Just laughing my ass off!!!

    Smile!

 yep, that's it. The first time I saw that I was literally rolling on the floor laughing. I couldn't do anything else. That whole sequence with John Candy playing dashboard piano to a Ray Charles tune, getting his coat stuck on the seat adjustment... when Steve Martin looks over he sees John Candy as the devil

The scene in the movie theater in O Brother Where Art Thou : "we thought you was turned into a horny toad" followed by the puzzled look on John Turtoro's (sp) face :D

My favorite part of the Planes, Trains, and Automobiles segment Mike mentioned is when the family tells John Candy that he's going the wrong way, and he makes a drinking motion with his arm and comments dismissively "How would they know where we're going?"

The "Love Power" song and dance by Dick Shawn as "Lorenzo St. DuBois" from "The Producers". Zero Mostel's yell of "That's our Hitler!" is the perfect punchline for this segment, too.

The parallel bars followed by the drawing room interrogation with glove and mace scene and the multiple assassination attempts on Clouseau in "The Pink Panther Strikes Again"

The "set-pieces" in "There's Something about Mary" such as the zipper incident, the stimulated dog attack, and the hair gel date along with a few others.

The driving montage scene in Tommy Boy where they wind up singing "Eres Tu".

The dinner table scenes in "The Nutty Professor"

The "Skeet Surfing" bit from Top Secret

    ...many many more.

The scene with the co-pilot in "Airplane" always gets me. I also like O.J.'s hospital scene in "Naked Gun".

The "hair gel" scene in There's Something About Mary(oh yeah, and the scene where her dog attacks Ben Stiller!).

If I had to pick one gut-buster it would be the phone conversation between President Muffley and "Dmitri".

The dog seen had me in hysterics, almost threw up. Also thought the interrogation scene where the cop goes nuts and starts banging Ben Stiller's head on the table was quite funny.
