Are there any songs where the harmonica is central to the song?

    Among them:
The Beatles - "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!" (1967)
The Rolling Stones - "Midnight Rambler" (1969)
    Bob Dylan - "Isis" (1976)
Huey Lewis & The News - "Workin' for a Livin'" (1982)
The Thompson Twins - "You Take Me Up" (1984)
Blessid Union of Souls - "Oh Virginia" (1996)

Of these, only "Mr. Kite!" seems to have had the most number of harmonica players since the days when harmonica bands like Borrah Minevitch & His Harmonica Rascals, Johnny Puleo (an ex-Harmonica Rascal) & His Harmonica Gang and the Harmonicats had been the most popular.

    How about this?

With that much harmonica... it really takes you back to the 1930s!

Blues Traveler - Maybe I'm Wrong

Released as a track in the Blues Brothers 2000 movie, it's a great song with some amazing Harmonica. Give it a listen!

Anything by Little Walter, James Cotton, Sonny Boy Williamson, Junior Wells is harmonica heavy and mind blowing.
Expand your horizons and listen to the these artists.
Heck, get the Big Walter Horton with Carey Bell lp or cd.
Two harmonica greats together on one record!

Both of John Mayall's 'Turning Point' & 'Jazz Blues Fusion' have a ton of harp. Both highly recommended!
