I know this a great place to get help on finding tubes, etc. So, my dad has had bands for years-- German Polkas, Dixieland, Big Band, etc. We've got several 7 in. reels that I recorded live on a Pioneer Reel deck that needs new heads. (Two track consumer model-- 4 track tape-- two in each direction)
Any suggestions on getting the proper replacements and then getting them aligned properly. While I work at a radio station, nobody seems to know where the $100 15 year old alignment tape is (or if they make such a thing now with all of the digital technology).

Where in Ohio are you? Would you be willing to go as far as Louisville?

I'm just south of where I-77 crosses from Ohio into West Virginia in a little city known as Belpre. I might drive that far...what would I find there?
