What are the possibilities of seeing the complete 'Ed' series on Blu Ray?
One of my favourite TV shows of all time, I come back to them as much as
I do 'the 3 stooges' and 'the marx brothers' and yet still get entertained continually.
A lot of the episodes were up on youtube for a while, but they seem to have
    been removed.
    Any love for Mister Ed?

If a Blu Ray was done of this series I would HOPE that they would use the full opening instead of the shortened, sped up syndicated version.

Although I had the normal crush on Connie Hines, I later realized I had a thing for her "partner in crime" Edna Skinner also.

I've loved this show ever since I first saw it on Nick At Nite back in the late 80's. I will still watch it if I catch it on TV. :)

Wilbur's wife was a saint. Why didn't he let her in on Ed's gift?

Mr. Ed wouldn't talk to anyone else so if Wilbur told her she would just think he was a nut. :)

I'd love me a woman like Mrs. Post as my wife in 2018.

I always liked when they trained the horse to do stuff with props like pick up a telephone receiver or paint by putting the brush in his mouth. heh

My girlfriend and I are 2 episodes shy of watching the run. Question: what happened to the neighbors in the last season? Not that I missed them. The second neighbors were awful. Other than Ed, Connie Hines was such a babe and another reason to love the show.

I don't think I missed an ep when I was a tot. I had the 45 of Surrey with the Fringe on Top.
I knew a guy who was a hardcore Sopranos fan, loved kinda violent stuff and he thought Ed was absolutely da bomb.

Larry Keating died in Season 3 resulting in the replacement of the widowo_O Kay (Edna Skinner) by new neighbors. I agree that the casting change was disastrous and I can't watch seasons 4-5 because I dread when Gordon (Leon Ames) is going to appear. He wasn't a bad movie actor but the writers/directors never got the part right with him.

Why didn't they just replace Keating and keep Skinner?

They probably thought it more plausible to have neighbors move out and in than try to explain how Skinner was running around with a new husband. The fault was not simply with Leon Ames who was a decent actor but the producers and writers who failed to create an interesting character for Ames to play. He was supposed to be Wilbur's former AF CO which was a terrible premise for any comic interaction.
