    Hello Steve - another CCR Q for you...

    With all the swell accolades the recent vinyl presses of the CCR catalog that you and Kevin Gray worked on have been getting here on the site, I got to wondering: how do the SACD test presses of the 2 CCR's compare in a sonic showdown with the vinyl? Since I've been a lazy/cheap mofo and haven't gotten the phono stage fixed in my Adcom preamp yet (those tube Dynaco MK IV's I bought killed that fund - NOS tubes are EXPENSIVE!!!), I'm gonna have to settle for the SACD's. Also, are/can the dual layer discs be pressed with gold layers like your DCC's discs were?
