Help choosing hi-end cart for CEC Denki 8002a (and Technics 1200)

Hi there!

This is my first post here. Thank you in advance for anyone who can help me out. I'm looking for some expert advice about buying a hi-end cart for my CEC Denki 8002a. Ideally, I'd also like the cart to be compatible with my Technics 1200 (that's not totally necessary though, as I've got a Shure M97xe on the 1200 which sounds fine at the moment). The current CEC cartridge, however, hasn't been changed in decades. So it's definitely in need of a serious upgrade. I've found it very difficult to find expert advice about CEC compatibility on the web.

I'm considering the Ortofon 2M Bronze, which I think would be compatible with both TTs. What do you guys think?

Any suggestions would be wonderful.
