Her Majesty Love, 1931 WC Fields, very rare movie

Got this spinning right now on a great looking DVD I got from a serious private collector. It looks great.

This is a wonderful "lost" WC Fields movie that certainly deserves an official release.

I saw it as a kid on the late, late, late show, one time.....and then decades later on TCM.
(come on Turner, release a DVD!)

"A circus entertainer fights snobbery in her search for romance in Her Majesty Love (1931) featuring W.C. Fields in his first sound feature. A wonderful introduction IMO to WC Fields breaking from silent into talking movies.

I can only hope and pray for an official release.

 

Great clip! Who knew WC could juggle?

 

I thought he was a very successful juggler on the vaudeville circuit before he turned to comedy. I know he did a cool juggling trick with boxes in another movie.

 

Yup,his cigar box jugging trick has been copied by many.
