Hey, everybody shout out a big welcome to tradergoatee, the ULTIMATE power pop fan!!!

New member tradergoatee and I have been trading music for a while. Last night I emailed him and told him about the forum and suggested that he join up. I told him that he would be right at home here. This guy has the MOST AMAZING collection of Beatlesque power pop and bootleg cds and videos that I've ever seen!! So this thread is about power pop, tradergoatee's favorite genre. Two tasty little items that I would like to mention that tradergoatee turned me on to: The Beatnix cd of songs that the Beatles gave away. AMAZING album and very well recorded also. Another band he told me about is the Orgone Box. Anybody ever heard of them??

 

Orgone Box - yes, I posted about them a few weeks back on this forum. Tradergoatee (and others) should check out The Telepathic Butterflies, which I've been listening to, of late. Dang, I thought I was the world's biggest power pop fan.
