Help me out. I'm confused. Is this thread about the top three albums by a woman or is this thread about the top three albums by a band that has a woman member?

Both haha. But if it’s a band, the woman has to be the main singer, songwriter, etc. The main thing, you know?

I avoided Joni Mitchell as she has been mentioned a ton and many of her albums could easily be considered top 3.
I am also avoiding Carol King Tapestry as that is a great all time album made by anyone.

    So my top 3 are:

Kate Wolf -- Give Yourself to Love (Live in Concert). I did not see Kate Wolf mentioned in this thread and many of you probably never heard of her. Her whole catalog is fantastic so if you have a chance, check her out.

Nanci Griffith -- One Fair Summer Evening. No mentions of Nanci either.

Bonnie Raitt -- Give It Up
