Lots of references to recent events here. That red-blue map of the US looks very familiar. "One nation. Underwood" Love it!

Totally in. I love this series though it may be nearing the end of its plausibility.

May 30 cant come soon enough! Time to rewatch seasons 1-4!

  6. Familiar, but Underwood is the "Blue" rather than "Red."

Maybe they will address the popular vote vs the electoral vote issue. The "Never Underwood" signs are certainly topical.

Best show on television. That last season was insane. And the action is at a peak. I can't wait. I gobbled up Season 4 in one afternoon. I still haven't finished "Westworld."

It has to all fall at some point or it wouldn't be a house of cards.

    *Season 1/2 Spoilers*

The threesome with the secret service agent and pushing the journo undernthe train didn't do that for you?

I've continued watching as part of my campy trash TV fill, and more or less enjoying it, but it is only a notch or two above Scandal in the plausibility stakes.

I've said the same thing in the past, but in 2017...I no longer have an issue with plausibility!

Perhaps "plausibility" wasn't the right word to use...

  13. Others may argue that Underwood is a push in the right direction . . . ;)

thought season 1 was superb. season 2 was pretty decent, but it got a bit silly and OTT after that. some (most) of the story-lines were preposterous!

I'll still be watching season 5 though

At this point it's my duty to see how this all plays out after all of the shenanigans that have transpired. But I don't think it can continue much further. Problem is Spacey and Wright keep wanting to come back-why should Netflix say no?

At the risk of spoiling anything, is there any reason to think this is the final season?

That blew my little mind the first time I saw it.

I really like the show and blew through 4 episodes last night. I love when Spacey says something sincere and moving as President, then turns to the camera and rolls his eyes, acknowledging that it's all b******t.

There's an assumption that there will be a 6th season, but it hasn't been announced yet. I don't think there's any "finality" in this new season that would avoid the possibility of more shows.

Really good first episode, picking up right where the last season left off. I thought Claire told Tom to hit the road a while ago??? Apparently not.... Is he going to publish that book he's been writing? Anybody see any parallels with the Trump presidency?

Just doing my best to steer this out of "real" political conversation! I know that if I got into politics here I'd be up against 90% of the board so best to avoid the topic. Plus such conversations are against the rules here...

I've watched a couple episodes and it seems like this show is pretty consistent. More of the same (overdone) political intrigue from the last season, which I love, so looking forward to seeing where they take the Underwoods as they get closer to the election.

I liked the booing crowds with the picket signs that read "NOT MY PRESIDENT."

Call me crazy, but I'd vote for Frank Underwood anytime. At least he's the devil we know.

(OK, it's last year's poster, but I love the slogan.)
