David Gilmour has always made sure that Syd compositions were featured on EVERY Pink Floyd compilation. While the forum may ignore compilations the coins add up.

In a similar vein, Chet Bakers record label FORGOT to pay him for his compositions and recordings that were included on COMPILATIONS. A lawsuit uncovered the accounting and turned into a huge settlement for his estate.

    Cheers, Michael

Yeah, I think those pictures are shopped. I immediately recognized him on the third photo, but then realized that it was probably from another photo taken from him and someone used it to shop it.

Also used this picture in another photoshop

Or maybe I'm wrong and they're legit...:)

Obviously the same face in both of those photos. The "editor" flipped it for the shopped version.

Is that Syd's head on John Lennon's body?

If I remember correctly I saw them on this page: Syd Barrett Rare Film of 1974 ยป

There are also photos on a blog where there is a description, I remember it was a 3 day session.

By the way the 5 photos that I put represent these songs that have given life in 1974:

Don't know who the man in the photos is, but pretty sure the person behind them was one of the regulars on the Late Night forum, who had a habit of putting together photos like this.

In the third photo is more recognizable, I do not see because it was modified.

Here is another photo of Syd, and this seems to me to be the only one that represents in the era of the years 72 - 73.

Maybe this was later when he was with the band "Stars" [IMG]

Wouldn't it be really wild (here comes fan fiction, hold on) if Syd really did level out at the end of the Meddle album and was brought in as the Brian Wilson type musical director and ghost writer, that was proposed a few years back. :yikes: The photo of Syd in the studio and story of "wow we had no idea it was him"was smoke and mirrors to throw off the scent that he collaborated and wrote for DSOTM (Syd's thought to have backup singers and sax introduced into the sound) WYWH, and of course Animals(whole Pork Chop story = the mighty flying Pig) and finally the swan song of his (mostly story) The Wall. I can see it. :hide:
