I've been reading a lot of information online regarding AC3 files and burning them onto a regular CD-R.

I was planning on using BeSweet to convert my regular 2-Channel .WAV files into 5.1 AC3 files. But from there, I don't know the procedure for burning it.

I use Roxio's EasyCD Creator but am not sure if I am supposed to create a Data CD with the AC3 files or do I create a regular Audio CD or something??

I'm basically just wanting to play around and see how and if it's really possible to take a 2-Channel .WAV file that I rip from one of my CD's and turn it into an AC3 surround sound file. Apparently it's possible, so I wanted to try it out.

So far I have read these sites:

    http://www.kellyindustries.com/diy_5_1.html

    http://www.5dot1.com/articles/ac-3_5_1_audio_onto_a_cd-r.html

Anyone have any other information? Has anyone here ever done this sort of thing?
Also, I use CoolEdit Pro a lot but I'm not sure if I can use it to do any of the above processes...

    THANKS!:)
