I downloaded the Hartford Pearl Jam show as FLAC files as they were higher quality files now I have no idea how to transfer it to Itunes.
I transfered Man MP# show of Pearl jam a coupe of days ago. Not sure why this is different. What do I do?

Download Easy CD-DA Extractor and convert the FLAC files to any file format you want... Or, burn the FLAC to CD using NERO. Then RIP using iTunes. There's probably dozens of other ways to do what you want... Good Luck!

    Hi,

Unpack them to .WAV or AIFF, burn them to CD, Rip them to ITunes and then update IPod and enjoy.

use another music player such as foobar or anything lse that plays flac files, then convert them to .wav files. Add the .wav files to itunes then highlight them and right click to convert them to apple lossless or acc then delete the .wav files no quality is lost. If u convert to apple lossless that is.

Get Burrrn. It can burn FLAC files to CD with no problem.

Nero also has a FLAC plugin to burn direct to CD. Use the FREE FLAC Frontend to decompress to WAV if that is your goal. Then import to iToones.

...Better yet... install Rockbox on your iPod then play the FLAC files on your iPod with no file converting, etc...

If you're trying to play them in iTunes, the closest you'll be able to get is converting them into a format like WAV, ALAC, or AIFF.

If you're trying to get it onto an iPod, there are apps (I've used Golden Ear and FLAC Player) and they just let you import the files as FLAC into the app to be played back on your iPod.

As said, there are a lot of other programs that will natively support FLAC. Foobar2000 is a nice one.

If you are on a Mac use XLD to transcode files. If on Windows dbPoweramp or EAC. There are now third party playback softwares that work in conjunction with iTunes that allow for playback of FLAC files. On a Mac, Pure Music, Audivrana, others.

Also converting FLAC to Apple Lossless is a great alternative.

Why pay for an app to do something that many other apps do in an identical manner, for free? Not sure what you're getting for your money here...

Another vote for XLD. It's free, it's updated regularly, and works well in iTunes and iTunes 3rd party playback options.
