For me:

30s/40s - 1%
50s - 13%
60s - 32%
70s - 27%
80s - 10%
90s - 7%
00s - 5%
10s - 5%

Or put another way:

The golden age of recorded sound (roughly 1954 - 1979) = 72% of my collection
The modern era (1980 - 2018) = 27% of my collection

Don't have my stuff on Discogs but I'm in the mid 60's through the mid 80's mostly with a heavy focus on '75 - '82 . That said, most of my CD's focus on mid 80's to mid 90's,

 

More from the '60s and '70s than any other decade. Maybe there's something to the theory that we favor the music we grew up with.

 

well discogs is still having a lot of issues with the new implementation, and there are still a lot of complaints.
