I never thought about going to see Uriah Heep - they stopped interesting me after Innocent Victim came out. But now I saw the play in December 500 meters away from my home - in a church, with a sort of acoustic program. The price isn't really cheap (48 Euros) but there is a voice in me saying "go"... Hope somebody convinces me not to do so... ;-) Or how are they now? Martin And who are "they"? Box, Kerslake... Boulder maybe?
I saw them last year, and I have to admit: the lead singer looked like something out of Spinal Tap. Fairly young and very much into yellow Spandex. The rest of the group was fine; however, it was tough not to chuckle at the singer. As for the music, suffice to say that the older stuff was much better than the new--and I'm not a retro snob at all.
