How long to ship a CD from Costa Rica to NYC, USA?

    I was just told by a seller on eBay after I purchased an expensive CD from them that it takes 3-5 weeks to ship a CD from Costa Rica to NYC, USA.

    Does that sound like an accurate estimate to you?

    I have never had something shipped to me from outside the USA take more than 2 weeks.

    I've waited for a maximum of 28 days from Northern Europe so to me it's not unheard of. It was shipped the cheapest way though too which can and does effect delivery speed.

    One time I bought a cd from Mexico and it arrived 35 days later.
