How would you rate Giles Martin's work on the Beatle's remixes?

I think he did a good job on the Love album. I think he did a great job on the 1+ remixes and a not so good job on the Sgt Pepper remix. A mixed bag but it was always going to be a tough task remixing the Beatles.

 

Would Steven Wilson have been a better option?

 

Or maybe Butch Vig?

 

Or Kanye West?

 

Paul McCartney is a fan of Kanye West after all.

Another option would be Bob Rock. He did a good job on the Metallica Black album.
