I know what you mean, but 'You Can Live at Home' always struck me as the ultimate break-up song ("I can be fine, I can be free, I can be beautiful without you torturing me. Walk, walk away. GO!"), and it never occurred to me until much later that it wasn't about the end of the band.

I guess it's Shoot Out the Lights Syndrome. Interesting songwriters always write songs about emotional conflict, relationships gone sour and so forth, and sometimes those coincide with the real thing.

People thought the same thing about any Hart or Mould solo album. There has been a song from each about the other IIRC.

I agree. I don't think songs are about just one person. They are magic. And like I said when I first heard it I thought of someone else. But he DID call that record two against one...

It's also fully available on Bandcamp, despite it still showing a release date of November 10.

Your home-made package has been lovingly hand-packed in a small batch using
locally-sourced cardboard and grass-fed paper tape, and handed one at a time
to our friendly neighborhood Union-member postal artist. If you would like
further updates, this handy alphanumeric tracking info "tweets" its progress
as it moves through the postal system.

Do those of you who've received shipping acknowledgements live far from Chicago/the Midwest? I'm wondering if they're shipping longer-distance orders first -- I live in the Chicago area, ordered early enough the get one of the colored vinyl/Extra Circus packages, but my order hasn't yet shipped.

I live in Minneapolis, and just got my notice this morning. Don't know if this helps.

Los Angeles. Received a shipping notice on 10/13 (probably just creation of the tracking label) but there was no actual movement until today.

That all makes sense. They could probably walk mine over, so waiting a few more days to ship it won't be a big deal.

I bought the cd and wrote them to say I wouldn't have bought the digital files had I known this was going to have a physical release. Yeah it was only five bucks but times that by how many others did it for the same reason. If they knew this up front they should've said as much.

To the ones who have received shipping notices...what date did you pre-order? I have nothing yet.
