I know what you mean, but 'You Can Live at Home' always struck me as the ultimate break-up song ("I can be fine, I can be free, I can be beautiful without you torturing me. Walk, walk away. GO!"), and it never occurred to me until much later that it wasn't about the end of the band.

I guess it's Shoot Out the Lights Syndrome. Interesting songwriters always write songs about emotional conflict, relationships gone sour and so forth, and sometimes those coincide with the real thing.

 

People thought the same thing about any Hart or Mould solo album. There has been a song from each about the other IIRC.

 

I agree. I don't think songs are about just one person. They are magic. And like I said when I first heard it I thought of someone else. But he DID call that record two against one...

 

Its already for sale that their pop-up shop. Hopefully they will ship sooner then late November.

Los Angeles. Received a shipping notice on 10/13 (probably just creation of the tracking label) but there was no actual movement until today.

 

That all makes sense. They could probably walk mine over, so waiting a few more days to ship it won't be a big deal.

 

Just received my package, packed up in jaunty Nümero Grüp tape. Cannot wait to fire this set up!

I bought the cd and wrote them to say I wouldn't have bought the digital files had I known this was going to have a physical release. Yeah it was only five bucks but times that by how many others did it for the same reason. If they knew this up front they should've said as much.

 

To the ones who have received shipping notices...what date did you pre-order? I have nothing yet.
