    I couldn't find any mention of this in search so I'm posting for all the Pie fans out there.

    This special limited LP was produced for RSD 2018, exclusively for sale by the excellent UK record shop, Pie & Vinyl (Southsea).

    Cut half-speed and pressed on heavy weight vinyl just prior to this year's event; it sounds fantastic! It features an unreleased take of '79th Street Blues'.

    Here are some photos;

    This arrived today. I’m very pleased with it... nice set and decent sound. Also very encouraging to see that it’s a forerunner to a more extensive Immediate release programme for the Pie. Will go very nicely with the A&M box released last year.

    I tried to order last week but no shipping to the US. Looks like Immediate will have it for sale this week?

    It’s one new song, but a whole newly remastered LP. Well worth that money.

    Ordered. Hopefully it sounds good.

  18. Yep. Just ordered a copy. I’ve also got the bootleg vol. 2 cd set coming tomorrow.

    Would love to get an expanded box set from these guys but I’m not sure what kind of material is left in vault?

    At any rate, I’m excited to get this lp. Thanks for the links

    So, $48 for songs (all but one) that’ve been released many times, not easy to order and no one knows if the mastering is any good.

    :doh:

    The mastering is good Jerry. In response to some of the posts above, I didn't post ordering links as it didn't feel right to pimp and I figured that folks would work that out for themselves. As for its value for money, I guess it's just a really nice LP to have if you are a big HP fan. I'm glad that I have it.

    Great to hear about the mastering! I’ll look for a copy, then, if it’s not too pricey. My first concert was Humble Pie and Frampton’s Camel. I love my Humble Pie!

    No, that would be Mitch Ryder, followed closely by Paul Rodgers. Marriot just killed it, tragic loss for all music fans.
