I will go one step further and state it should have always been on III. Either of the last two songs of that almost perfect album could have been relegated to the "b-side" over Hey Hey to my ears.

Got all 3 single vinyls. Must say I'm very impressed with the sound quality! The pressings are dead silent (but unfortunately my LZ1 is badly warped AND the label on side 1 is falling off! ... LZ3 has a moderate warp and that one might go back too). But hey LZ2 is absolutely perfect and (warps aside) these are really some of the best-sounding new LPs I've heard in a while.

    Bring on LZ4!

Only bought the simple 1-CD editions. I'm satisfied with the sound. Not too loud, perfect frequency balance and no NR. Will keep my Japanese editions of the 1994 remaster for the lyric sheet and the inner protection sleeve.

Got II and III from amazon.uk pre-ordered at £89.99 each. Delivered last week, nothing to complain about from me, packaging is just superb.

Today they are £99.99 and expect to go higher.

Welcome to the forum! You've got to love Amazon's infinitely variable pricing - I picked up Floyd's Wish You Were Here a couple of years back for £69. Today it's at £94. Glad you got it at the cheaper/pre-order price. A £10 difference per Super Deluxe set would add up to £90 over the course of the full reissue campaign.

Im absolutely chuffed with my III Super Deluxe. Set myself a one per month limit to get I & II so they all sink in properly. For years every time I visited this site or www.superdeluxeedition.com I hoped I would see a Zeppelin announcement.

June 2nd seemed an age to wait. Now I have my box I love it and can't wait for the rest of the catalogue.

Thank you, a great forum, plenty of discussion items.

I love these Super Deluxe issues, I have started going for them quite seriously, not withstanding I am using them as "investments" as well as a love of the music.

Will get a list of my current items up soon

I am happy with the remasters I guess. Listened to high-rez. Did not do meticulous AB-ing with other masters/remasters out there, but I am fairly confident that it is one of the best digital versions available. Bonus material - good. Enjoyed La La, and Keys to the Highway especially. Should have tucked this at the end of III rather than the erratic going nowhere Hats Off. Work in progress also offer numerous interesting insights. Didn't know that "That's The Way" was slowed down at the final stage of mix preparation.

Indeed... recorded in Open-G tuning but then slowed down, reducing the pitch by a semitone.... so if you want to play along with the record, your guitar needs to be in Open G-flat tuning. :)

I am pleased I went the same route and once all the reissues are out it will be an impressive sight! Storage space and weight is another matter of course ...
