I bought a SCD-777ES.....

    Todd, it is really great that you have moved on from this. I'm sure having the '777ES makes it easier. :) Seriously though, I think your ability to put things in perspective is a great thing. It's the sort of thing that makes one pause and realize what is really important in life.

    I don't leave the stabilizer in my '777ES. As I recall, the manual says not to do this. I leave the stabilizer on a tissue to next to the player.

    Really? I just did it on instinct. My 777 came to me in an anvil packing case with no manual.. (New though)... Thank you David K.!

    Todd- Glad to hear that you are where you want to be with the 777. That type of misadventure happens to us all at least once... :(

    Now, I'm going to 'Nawlins in a couple of weeks, just for fun with three (old) friends. Anyway, I'd like to know: Does that deal with women and the plastic beads work when it's NOT Mardi-Gras???
