    Two from Mr. Tambourine Man:

"And but for the sky there are no fences facing."

"Yes, to dance beneath the diamond sky with one hand waving free
Silhouetted by the sea, circled by the circus sands
With all memory and fate driven deep beneath the waves
Let me forget about today until tomorrow."

For something a bit absurd, one from Yea! Heavy And A Bottle Of Bread:

"Well, the comic book and me, just us, we caught the bus"

I sat my monkey on a log
Ordered him to do the dog
He wagged his tail and shook his head
Went and did the cat instead
    He's a weird monkey
    Very funky

    The suspense is killing me.

(and that's me, not Bob Dylan)

So many great quotes. I thank you all. I took the top 12 (that I liked and were appropriate and not jokes) and showed them to my kids, discussing every one.

    The winner:

May you build a ladder to the stars
    And climb on every rung
    May you stay
    Forever young

They said they liked the imagery of the stars. I'll post a pic when the ceiling tile is up in my room. Thank you all! I really appreciate the suggestions.

    Now that's one I wouldn't impart to middle-school kids. :)

And I hope that she's reading "King Lear", but it's "Twelfth Night" instead.

    Go with Al

I'm sure it has already been suggested but:

Andy Smith .....Like a good pinch of snuff......

I always warmed to 'Are you willing to risk it all, or is your love in vain...?'. Nothing too ambiguous there. Nothing too clever-clever. Bob could speak common sense when required.
