I met him last night outside of my hotel room in Atlanta, he was super-cool, much friendlier than rumors would have you believe, and had no issues with me asking for the picture. I went to wish him luck on the upcoming shows, and said, "Axl man, good luck with the upcoming tour, I mean, the few shows." And he stopped and turned back toward me and said "No man, we're gonna do a whole tour." It was awesome!

Of course I posted it to Instagram, and then everything went bonkers! I had fan pages contacting me to answer questions, Duff McKagan 'liked' and commented on the pic, and it's been picked up by multiple sites across the web as a "news" about Guns N' Roses!

    Here are a couple:
Ultimate Classic Rock: Axl Rose Reportedly Tells Fan Guns N' Roses Are 'Gonna Do a Whole Tour' »
Alternative Nation (re-posted by Consequence of Sound): Axl Rose Talks Guns N' Roses Reunion, Shows Off Muscular Physique »

So yeah, I'm famous! :pineapple: I'm on the right, btw ;)

That's awesome. Enjoy your 15 minutes (though these days you may get a reality series out of it!).

And expect nasty comments as well -- and don't respond to them. That's just the way the Internet works these days.

Man, that you had the sheer guts to approach him is an achievement in itself! Cool!

I'm glad it was such a positive experience, it's great when someone is nicer than you expect.

So glad he was nice to you. He's not well so it could have gone very differently. Hopefully, this means he's doing well with treatment and he's found peace. He deserves it for all he's been through.

actually it was more just not wanting to crowd him and be respectful. he doesn't exactly have the reputation of being approachable you know? but he was last night!

I like how 'his arms look muscular' turned into a headline of 'shows off muscular physique'. Possibly they changed the definition of 'muscular' and I missed it.

Where's the muscular physique he's supposed to be showing off? Looks more like he he's taking full advantage of that Taco Bell sponsorship.

Excellent! It always makes me feel good to hear about encounters like this, when the *famous person* turns out to be gracious.
