I really would like the whole Al Jarreau catalog to be masterfully remastered, also his first record from the 1960s. :pineapple:

Is it a 'FUBAR cd fixer App' so you can make every bad cd sound as good as "Aja":)?

I thought that was a photo of Keith Richards, but I do feel like that photo waiting for the next Peter Gabriel Album that is original/new music.

I'm just paranoid it won't be all that special a project...like a Lenny Bruce box, but they only have the license for his poetry; or The Complete Doobie Brothers...1998 and After :wtf: .

My vote goes for the radiohead catalog, weezer pinkerton on cd, the smile sessions, 13th floor evelators psychedelic sounds, or really anything more modern would be nice. Dont get me wrong, most the music I live is much older, but I still love a lot of newer music too. There are many great artists and albums that have become victims to the loudness wars. Like the flaming lips, or animal collective, or the white stipes, and so on.

There was an alternative surround mix of Sgt. Pepper made by Giles Martin (7.1? Or Dolby Atmo?) which wasn't included in the anniversary box set but was presented at Abbey Road for a small crowd. Time for its release soon?

Whatever it is, who would be impressed with self-motivated promotion of projects in which you are not in control. Remember when Gail Zappa sat on her family's promised releasing of the Roxy film project for years, after teasing just a portion of it? We weren't allowed to know why it was taking so long, only that it was, the Family Trust tipped their hand on it far too soon before its' trajectory was assured...and in the end, it only left bitter feelings and lack of respect for her abilities for far too long, before she was able to finally deliver on something she promised.

In the end the product was more than adequate, but, was the early promotion (her control on the release clearly not borne out by the unprecidented delay), worth all the bad blood she spilled on her brand?

Was it, Steve? Was it, Marshall?

Who knows, maybe public opinon would grant you a better return on your promotion strategy if this thread went down the ol' "memory hole" until your follow-up could back-up your build-up?

Just thinking aboud, gentlemen, not intending to raise a stink...!

Dilly, Dilly, Dilly. I know "Little Willy, Willy won't" but does Little Dilly have some tracks to contribute?
