IMDb eliminating its message boards

Tricky now the IMDb message board are defunct. Individual films were discussed, invaluable information...there was a lot of crazy ( usually new films )akin to ardent el loco youtubers comments, still IMDb was the winner imo, sadly No more.

 

Shame the message boards are gone now. Can't even go back into the archives and look back.

 

Completely irreplaceable.

 

There's here though.

 

For music related yeah.
Movies : IMDb, IMO There's no comparison ( even with the message board silliness at times ), that's not to slight here which for music related is wonderful.

 

I wonder why IMDB even shut their message boards down.

 

As someone already said has to be"Hollywood " shame as I don't go to IMDb that much now. But, seeing as it's still quite recent the "closure " I'm still annoyed.

 

Agree. I probably went to IMDB a dozen times a week on average, but that was prior to them shuttering the message boards. I've been training myself to use Rotten Tomatoes now, but it's hard to move on from a dozen years of IMDB.

 

Like wearing shoes,now you gotta manage on flip flops.
