in-ear earphones - cheap recommendations?

Recently I have purchased 4 different Knowledge Zenith earphones on aliexpress because they were supposed to be pretty good budget buys, but |I find them all lacking in treble extension and detail. Can anyone recommend another brand to try?

If your talking dirt cheap, the Panasonic RPHJE120's are really impressive for under $10. Better than some much more expensive ones. they really are worth getting just to see what you think. I run with tunes and/or Podcasts and have gone through a lot of cheap earbuds in my time.

 

I might try these out myself.

 

I've had a set of Sennheiser in ear buds for about 10 years and I am very happy with them. My wife who destroys earbuds regularly had a set of TDK that sounded great too. They were the model with black poly foam surrounds and a brown cloth covered cord.

I think that the Brainwavz Delta earphones are one of the best values in audio. Cost is around $20 for a set and they will last forever. Competes with models costing five times the price.

this guy has tried maybe 500 earphones. his list are very recommended!
when I got my ostry kc06 for 50$ shipped, I threw away my 80$ sennheiser (they are junk compared to ostry).
for under 50$ shipped go with ostry kc06
under 100$ shipped go etymotic mk5 (not mc5)
