Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath; that's enough British '70s rock in a row, I'd say.

I buy all of these issues—what can I say: I love reading well written album reviews.

But I can wait on Deep Purple and order it with the next issue. My hope is a George Harrison special.

Blondie and Blur would be my next two choices. Agree on Roxy too.

Would love Blondie and Blur ones (though the latter will probably include Gorillaz), but if I could pick the next one I’d go for Jou Division/New Order (well, after Suede but must stay realistic)

I bought them all for a few years but starting with The Beach Boys and The Byrds I started skipping them if the artist didn’t interest me.

I did the same. I reckon I buy one every 7 or 8 issues these days.

Also could have done with a little bit more attention paid to the later years instead of 4 albums to a page.

It’d be nice to have one on King Crimson and Peter Gabriel, but I’m not going to hold my breath. Rush and Emerson, Lake & Palmer would be two other great ones, IMHO.

Surprised there hasn't been one on CSNY.
I know there's been one on Neil Young alone.

I wish I could find a copy of the Radiohead issue for a good price. Sigh...

I didn't get it, but how deeply did they cover Peter Gabriel's solo career in the Genesis issue ?

    I beg to differ:
    4 pages about his albums.

    But:

    1 MM article from 1975. 4 pages.
    1 MM article from 1977. 6 pages.
    1 MM article from 1981. 6 pages.
    1 Uncut article from 2007. 4 pages.

That's actually not that bad. The Genesis edition is a highly enjoyable read.

At the moment I'm reading The Cure volume which is also fantastic!

If you buy both Queen editions you will most likely be getting the same stuff twice only housed in new artwork. You need quite some dedication for that!

I imagine the new one will have more pages, and since I don't hardly buy many of these it will be worth it to me.
I think I have a total of four of these UMGs. & one of those is a Genre guide (Glam).
The group has to be someone I collect on before I'll consider it.
