(Am trying to stay positive on this one.)

Is anyone on this forum have an eBay name of "drebbinsmom"? This person is relatively new to eBay, according to the link, and has a positive rating (4/4)

The reason I ask: Last Sunday, I won a bid for "Court and Spark" on DCC. I've tried contacting this seller twice for shipping info (once via Ebay, second my e-mail) but I haven't heard from the seller since. Here's the link:

    My eBay name is turnip2000

    Best,

Well, no soon after I post this message, I hear back from the seller!

But the response is not good:

"i am so sorry for the wait. there has been some confusion with this item and i wanted to clear it up before i send it to you. in the description it said that the disc was gold, in fact the disc is the normal cd. it is the court and spark cd though. i want to make sure youre still interested. if not, i apologize for the inconvience, if you are, i wont charge you anything for shipping since youve had to wait...im so sorry, tracy"

I mean, come on! The guy (or gal) advertises this thing as Gold Disc [then later in the post it says DCC] then says it's not. I don't want to be a major ahole here, but what are my additional options in terms of setting this person straight, short of sending the seller to the eBay police?

    Best,

    Kevin

Unfortunately I gotta agree that you REALLY need to watch, look, and ASK THE SELLER!!!!

We have discussed this many times in the passed few weeks about the description on Ebay defaulting to the MUZE gold disc version. Just during this week someone else posted about some MFSL/DCC discs and I felt the descriptions were WAAAYYY to vague to make a judgement.

In this case- with Court and Spark- I think this is one that I even looked at and said someone who doesn't ask is gonna get nailed.

I applaude the seller for alerting you up front and NOT completing the transaction.

You really gotta ask the seller these days unfortunately.
